About the Lazy Lake Retreat Center
The Lazy Lake Retreat Center is rooted in creating an experience for your next seminar, workshop, or family gathering supporting the betterment of our community.
The center has been completely remodeled and refinished with completion in 2023.
We’re proud to represent some of the best outdoor activities, wildlife, and scenic views that Wisconsin has to offer.
A Separate Area for Seminars and Workshops
With the 3 bedrooms of the Retreat Center located on the top floor, the downstairs area is a perfect setup for your seminar or workshop.
We have large tables, a full bath, and a full kitchen for food preparation during your retreat or family gathering.
Large double-sliding doors open the entire space to the beautiful lake view.
Downstairs Workshop Area Accommodation

We supply Wi-Fi for your event and a 36” television with Google Chromecast and HDMI cable hookup.
We also have easels with whiteboards and large paper pads with writing materials for your use.
There are some small Bluetooth speakers you can use.

Indoor:
Large conference table with 8 chairs as well as a lounge area with couch and recliner. Additional chairs and stools are available throughout the retreat center.
Outdoor:
We have camp chairs as well as outdoor patio furniture on the back deck and patio to accommodate 10. The furniture is easy to move in case you want to setup around the fire ring outside. -
The full kitchen includes:

3-Unit Crock-Pot
Refrigerator
Coffee pot
General kitchen utensils and serving dishes
Plates/Silverware -

Your stay at the Lazy Lake Retreat Center can accommodate up to 10 people for day-use or for an overnight retreat.

About the Owner
The Lazy Lake Retreat Center is owned and operated by Sharon Barger, Ph.D., LCSW, LPC, CRS, SAC.
Having 35+ years of experience operating her own practice at the Community Counseling Center in Madison, Wisconsin, Sharon decided to branch out to create a unique experience at Lazy Lake for retreats and workshops to further support her local community.
In her free time, Sharon can be found on the biking and hiking trails of southern Wisconsin or out on one of her favorite lakes in her kayak.
